Flower MartSchedule
In addition to a great line up of local musicians on stages in the West and South Squares, the Conservancy has assembled 11 workshops and lectures on flower and plant themes.
While you’re at Flower Mart, grab a beverage or food from one of the vendors and set down at one of our two stages and enjoy a concert. We hope when you visit you'll stop in the Learning Pavilion and learn about flower arranging, observing nature through watercolor, hear about Hilton Carter’s latest book, or join one of the other great plant-related workshops. Most are “make and take” sessions, where you get to take home your handiwork! These free workshops are capped at 25 participants and are first-come, first-served.
In the early evening in the Learning Pavilion there will be an opportunities to learn how mead or botanical gins are made (see schedule below for dates and times). These tasting sessions feature local producers Charm City Meadworks and Baltimore Spirts Company.
In addition to participating in two workshops in the Learning Pavilion, the National Aquarium will be hosting children and families in making native plant seed balls. Stop by the Aquarium’s booth to get nerdy with nature and learn about how you can support the health of the bay from your own backyard.
All performances, lectures, and workshops are free to attend!
