Baltimore Tree Trust (BTT) is on a mission to grow and protect Baltimore City’s urban forest through increased tree planting, community engagement, and stewardship of city trees. Midtown Community Benefits District aims to provide clean, green, safety and advocacy services to the four communities they serve which are Bolton Hill, Madison Park, Mount Vernon, and Charles North. Together BTT and Midtown are excited to share more about how we engage and educate communities on urban forestry efforts to achieve the collaborative goal of getting more trees planted across the city. Specifically, Midtown’s current goal is to close out their Chesapeake Bay Trust grant by planting 350 trees across the four neighborhoods they serve by Fall 2025, and BTT strives to plant 3000+ trees each year!
