Support the Conservancy

Your generous support enables the Conservancy to maintain and program the Washington Monument and the park squares of Mount Vernon Place, not only for the people of Baltimore, but for visitors from across the nation and world.

Each year, thousands visit the Monument, enjoy the parks, or attend Baltimore traditions like Flower Mart and Monument Lighting. We could not accomplish what we do without the financial and volunteer assistance of our supporters. There are several ways you can help—please consider joining our ranks by making a donation, becoming a member, or volunteering.

Membership

Becoming a member of the Conservancy is a great way to show your support of our organization and its mission.

Your annual membership helps support all of our programming activities, from free yoga classes to the presentation of cherished annual traditions like Flower Mart. Each season requires extensive care of the lawns and plant beds of Mount Vernon Place by the planting of summer annuals.

Why donate?

In a normal year, the Conservancy relies on private contributions and memberships for approximately 75% of its annual revenue. Government support only accounts for 20% of our budget, and admission to the Monument, only 5%. Your contributions go to everything from landscaping and fountain care, to concerts and yoga classes. We hope you will please consider a donation to support the Conservancy’s various programs and services.
